ePayments Resumes Operations On Its Clients' Accounts

The ePayments payment system published the news on its blog that after a long blocking of client accounts, they are returning to work.

We remind you that on February 11, 2020, by the decision of the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), ePayments Systems Limited suspended operations on its clients' accounts. This decision was made following an FCA review of ePayments' anti-money laundering systems and controls, which identified weaknesses that needed fixing.

The company apologizes for the time it took to fix the problems, however, work to update the compliance and control systems is progressing successfully.

“We are pleased to announce that we can now begin the process of updating our customer data. This process is an important step towards allowing us to begin giving you access to funds in your ePayments account,” the statement said.
